FlameFeed.ai ("FlameFeed", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and your rights in relation to it.

By using our platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who We Are

FlameFeed.ai is an AI-powered content creation platform that enables individuals and businesses to generate videos, images, scripts, and social media content. We are the data controller for personal data collected through the platform.

2. Data We Collect

Account Data

  • Name and email address provided at registration
  • Password (stored encrypted via AWS Cognito — we never see your plaintext password)
  • Profile picture (optional, uploaded by you)

Usage Data

  • Content you submit as prompts, scripts, or uploads to generate AI outputs
  • Generated videos, images, and text content
  • Credit usage history and billing records
  • Connected social media accounts (e.g. Instagram) and scheduled posts
  • IP address, browser type, and device information for security and analytics

Payment Data

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe may collect billing address and payment method information directly. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the service: process your prompts, generate content, manage your account and credits.
  • To improve the platform: analyse usage patterns and fix issues. We do not use your content to train our AI models without your explicit consent.
  • To communicate with you: send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts).
  • For security: detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.
  • For legal compliance: retain records required by applicable law.

4. AI Processing

Content you provide (prompts, uploaded images, scripts) is sent to third-party AI providers to generate outputs on your behalf. These providers are:

  • Google Cloud (Vertex AI / Veo / Imagen) — video and image generation
  • OpenAI — transcription and text generation
  • ElevenLabs — voice synthesis
  • Anthropic (Claude) — content analysis and text generation

Each provider processes data under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We share only the minimum data necessary to fulfil your request.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following infrastructure and third-party services:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure, authentication (Cognito), storage (S3), and database (DynamoDB)
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Meta (Instagram) — if you connect an Instagram account for auto-posting

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Generated content assets are stored for 90 days after creation, after which they may be deleted.
  • Billing records are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
  • After account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: request that inaccurate data is corrected.
  • Deletion:request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection: object to certain processing activities.
  • Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Upon deletion, all your personal data, generated content, and connected accounts will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

To request manual data deletion without deleting your account, email privacy@flamefeed.aiwith the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication and platform functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Analytics, if any, are privacy-preserving and anonymised.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive data, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure — we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

11. Children

FlameFeed.ai is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us immediately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
